a New York City resident, has gained a solid reputation as a unique and
gifted entertainer,
with a diverse repertoire and a large following.
Her piano accompaniment, instinctive and subtle, is perfectly suited to her

was released in April 2003, and features Richie Cannata, former sax player

Anne Smith is presently working on
original material which will be featured in the independent film, "Temporary
Suicide", by Roxanne Alese. She has been a repeat guest performer at WOR on
the Joey Reynolds Show. Anne has steadily performed at the Roosevelt Hotel
at E45th and Madison, Manhattan, as well as at George O'Niell's in midtown.
She will make her cabaret debut at Don't Tell Mama
also in Manhattan, New York. February 9th, and April of this year 2008. |

As the Carolina Ballet’s national reputation grows,
so does the Company. Six years ago Robert Weiss launched the first
season with a company of 20 dancers. Carolina Ballet began the 2003-2004
season with 37. And the Company is still growing.

Dancers on the Move!
On July 1st, 2007 the Raleigh-based Carolina Ballet, along with nearly 100
young dancers from both the U.S. and abroad, will descend upon the
University of North Carolina Wilmington campus for a month-long summer
residency. The Carolina Ballet Summer Intensive and Residency at UNCW has
drawn national attention for its unique combination of intensive dance
training for students and emerging professionals in conjunction with the
residency program, which offers Carolina Ballet’s company dancers and
artistic staff an opportunity to focus on the creation and development of
new works throughout the summer.

Carolina Ballet’s Education Program is designed for

Arnold C Franco has been spotted on the contemporary international scene,
making world peace again....La Fayette is not seen on the picture but he was
there too that day (says Arnold).
Arnold C Franco is the valiant initiator of the Queens College WWII Memorial
(created in 2006).
In France he was named Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur, for service
rendered to the people of France and humanity.
